The newly minted Creak Inc. sees keyboard virtuoso Kaidi Tatham
assemble a stellar ensemble of Danish musicians for the debut release.
of Creak Inc.

Tatham’s collaborative and studio references count heavyweights such
as Bugz In The Attic, 4Hero, Slum Village, Jazzy Jeff & Will Smith,
Amy Winehouse, Leroy Burgess, Moonchild, Soul II Soul, Amp Fiddler, Mr Scruff and Dego.
Already making a name for himself during the heyday of London’s Broken
Beat movement, his experience certainly shines through on these four
compositions.
Faves for me off this promising first outing are ‘Life’, a triumphant
Hi-Tech Soul affair with instant associations to the complexity of Nu
Era and Underground Resistance. Then there’s ‘Movement’, which
initially is a bass-throbbing slow jam that elegantly
transforms into an upbeat Roy Ayers-tinged affair bang in the middle
and makes a perfect testament to the best Danish summer in ages.
