Robert Hood never rests on his laurels and after the release of the utterly brilliant “M-Print 20 years of M-Plant Music” compilation in December last year, expectations are obviously very high.

Hood fortunately does not let us down on this 2-tracker, which heads off with the aptly titled “Shaker”. Gloomy pipeline sounds emitted from Hood’s keyboard paired with muttering whispers, bouncing kicks and yes, shaker overload, initiates this release.

Main track for me though is the chirping bassdrum clicks and well-know organ lead theme of “Ritual”, which is a transcending ritual in itself. With his perfectly trained killer instinct of what works on a dancefloor and superior in comparison to imitators simply due to the fact that Robert Hood always leaves his personal touches on his music, this is another magnificent example of why Hood is the master of today’s Techno.

Released March 30th via EPM and you can already check previews via the Soundcloud player below.
