Yes this album is old, it’s also rather good if you like that kinda thing. Young Montana? on the other hand is not old, but young, surprisingly unconfusingly he’s not from Montana, but London. I have a crush on this album, it’s called Limerence, look it up if you don’t know what that means and you will have the added bonus of learning a new word.
Amazing light sculptures from NYC based artist Dev Harlan. This one is “Parmenides I” from his “Astral Flight Hangar” solo show at the Christopher Henry Gallery last year. You can also check his vimeo channel for more lighting locura.
I don’t know about you, but I sure as hell played with those green army men when I was young, setting up lines of riflemen, holding on tight to the mortar guy because you only have one, and melting the faces and limbs off those dime a dozen crawling soldiers. Well kids these days now have these little gems to play with, Aj’s Toy Boarders which come in packs of 24 and 8 different poses, so you can break the wrist of the nose manual guy and snap the Legs of your friends set. I’m not a huge fan of most of the Jeremy Scott x Adidas Originals shoes to date but these Stan Smith based bowlers are looking mighty swish with blue inner and red outer panels, cream tongue and heel, and a classic styled gum sole. Makes me wanna polish my balls and go for a roll down the alley. Continue Reading →
So while all you Danish dwellers were getting crazy at Distortion this weekend, I was down here in at the Barcelona Extreme Festival, in it´s 4th edition it´s come a long way from the first one, although they still need to sort out the organization, or at least stick a LED screen somewhere where they can update the timetable, because the printed one wasn´t much help.
This has to be the best version of Star Wars that I’ve seen to date, and seeing as they’re everywhere all the time these days, let the icons do the talking! no dialog needed! sweet work from the “six foot-three sligtly overweight ginger-bearded four-eyed socially awkward senior digital designer & illustrator” Wayne Dorrington
Used toilet paper rolls are kinda a pain in the ass, always showing up right when you don’t need em, they really don´t have any purpose except for making binoculars for kindergartens around the world. Possibly taking that into account French designer Anastassia Elias has painstakingly turned these landfill fillers into little slices of the world around us, I´m seriously thinking about moving into one of these rolls. Many more after the jump. Continue Reading →

Yelle’s “Safari Disco Club” is prettymuch what you´d expect from the europoppin’ princess, but a little more reserved and complex than her previous stuffs.
I Follow Rivers by LykkeLi
Meanwhile in the run up to Lykke Li’s new album the first single “Get Some” has been doing the rounds for a moment, and was a slight departure from her usual steez, but the second single “I Follow Rivers” is right on the money, and sure to make it onto at least 1000 jilted lover mixtapes.
Here’s some lovely music to get you through the day.
More more more after the jump.

Not Suprisingly I was running a bit late and stressing a bit about the time clash between The Books and Surfer Blood, so it was happy days when I got in the gate and saw that The Books had been moved to 12.30. So it was straight on over to see
