As a heavyweight in European streetwear for decades, Carhartt WIP has continuously been putting out quality clothing for skate kids, their dads and everyone in between.
The brand just entered the American market opening up a flagship store in NYC, and the ante seems to be upped on all aspects of the brand.
In my eyes this is one of the best collections Carhartt has put out in years – and I’ve always been a huge fan.
Shot by Alexander Basile. Enjoy:

For issue 15′s fashion series, we teamed up with local Danish webbloggers The Meat and took a hoon out to a lake on the outskirts of Copenhagen. It was a Sunday morning and everyone was pretty smashed; actually I don’t think our model Frederik had been to bed yet, so it was all a pretty casual—if not unorganised—affair. Read more →

Carhartt WIP(thats Work In Progress aka Carhartt Streetwear aka Euro-Carhartt) just opened their second store in the streets of tiny Copenhagen. As shown in an earlier post, the shop is located in Wood Wood’s old space in Krystalgade. They’ve redone the entire shop and the outcome is great; minimalistic, spacious and very Carhartt-ish. I personally took some iPhone photos for your viewing pleasure, but should probably just get off your butt and go check out the shop yourself.

Just got this book in the post, another beautiful publication involving Scott Bourne I’ll have to get signed next time I see him. Here’s the blurb. This thing is NICE! Printed on mixed paper stocks and in both English and French, I’m really looking forward to a good read and some inspiring pics thanks to Scott and his gang.
Thanks to the mailman and whoever sent this!
Scott Bourne, well-known skateboarder and writer, takes us on a Balkan road-trip through Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania to Split, Croatia, by the Adriatic sea. The journey to the end of the night, with the rhythm of an old-time sailor song, of an author always seeking for discoveries and strangeness. Bertrand Trichet and Sergej Vutuc exhibit their photographs, as if to express the different sensations of the same journey, and give a hand to Lars Greiwe, Jaka Babnik and to Scott Bourne himself to illustrate the text. Pierre Villanoba, principal dancer of the San Francisco Ballet, signs the foreword and Romain Pareja has left his tattoo studio to draw mythological figures which make this Balkan journal unique, to the East of the Adriatic.

About 19/80 Éditions
East of the Adriatic is the first publication of 19/80 Éditions. Based in Paris, Jad Hussein and Stéphane Rançon created this publishing company as the continuation of their passion for books and skateboarding . Their leitmotiv: to make “books that make you move, grab your board, get your camera or pull out your pen”.
