Nike Vapen Sessions

Nike Vapen Sessions Episode 2 on Vimeo

Yea Norway is dope (which is even more apparent in episode 1 of this series), especially cos they build huge booters that people can hit at 3am in the never-setting sun. I don’t care what time of day it is, I’m not dropping in on that thing – but check Gigi Rüf and Nicolas Müller (looks like you need an ü in your surname to ride for Nike these days) and the rest of the crew and they blaze this set up.

Emerica Outsiders Tour Vid

In July, the Emerica team with Leo Romero, Brandon Westgate, Andrew Reynolds, Bryan Herman, Kevin ‘Spanky’ Long and Jerry Hsu came to Euroland. Fellow Emerica riders Eniz Fazliov, Tom Knox, Rob Maatman, Vladik Scholz and Helder Lima joined the team to represent the European Emerica contingent. Levi’s Streetwear Collection

Dropping in a flash (hitting European stores in September) is Levi’s new Black tab streetwear collection and to kick it off in style they’ve had the good sense to hire Simon Weyhe to create this short masterpiece which was made in Berlin during fashion week.

Keep your eyes open for the 6 part mini-series too – dropping in pieces soon.

GIGI RüF INTERVIEW

VernonDeck_Gigi_SwitchBsRodeo

I meet Gigi in Innsbruck in his native Austria the night before the Air & Style contest. With his infectious laugh and mellow nature, it feels like I’m hanging with an old friend. Between beers we nab a quick interview.

Berlin is BRIGHT!

So we spent last weekend in Berlin and yes it has taken all week to recover. Bright Tradeshow were kind enough to host us so huge sloppy hi fives all round to MT and his crew. Top stuff. Thanks, it was a blast. Continue Reading →

NATAS SKATEBOARD PROJECTION IN PARIS

Even though the head web guy keeps telling me not to post videos cos they make our shit clunky, I can’t help posting this. I had half these boards when I was a grom. This is from Natas Kaupas‘ exhibition at the Public Domaine – Skateboard Culture exhibition in Paris: something I’ve been gagging to get invited to.  Continue Reading →

Rune Glifberg’s Silver Anniversary

Here’s a flick made by our mate Simon Weyhe (who seems to be blazing everything in his len’s trail these days) from Rune Glifberg’s Silver Anniversary and produced for Burn. Check it. Continue Reading →

Photographed by Michael Jepsen

jun 13, 201112-43 e.m.black & white

Just picked up on these shots of Jens Funder (fantastic artist and killer skateboarder) taken by Michael Jepsen who is as yet without a website. I hope it comes soon though because these are brilliant.

PHOTO OF THE DAY

fælledparken-1

Photo: Lasse Kofod
Where: Fælledparken Skatepark
Why: By June 17′th Fælledparken Skatepark should be ready to get bashed by boards, bikes and skates. But ever since the bowl-part of the park was finished, skaterduders went crazy on the steep, gigantic concrete walls. This dude really pulled it off with steeze, and only crashed a few times.

Download a higher resolution version HERE if that picture of you and your dog on your desktop is getting boring.

Barcelona Extreme

P1020895

So while all you Danish dwellers were getting crazy at Distortion this weekend, I was down here in at the Barcelona Extreme Festival, in it´s 4th edition it´s come a long way from the first one, although they still need to sort out the organization, or at least stick a LED screen somewhere where they can update the timetable, because the printed one wasn´t much help.
