Local Copenhagen videographer, Niels Borup, did this short portrait of a guy you don’t wanna meet in a dark alley. Quality stuff.

This past Saturday afternoon we witnessed some of the sickest skating that’s gone down at the newly opened Fælledparken skatepark in Copenhagen yet. A party-ready Volcom hosted the final of its summer-long contest series Wild in the Parks for a Continue Reading →

Earlier today I swung by our sign man Kim from Lauridsen Skilte to pick up a couple of banners. It’s highly likely you’ve seen his work: he’s the go-to-guy for a lot of local businesses here including Street Machine, Le Fix, Carhartt and a bunch of fashiony brands. While I was there I snapped a couple of pics of his workshop. Continue Reading →

This is Børge, he is 66 years old. He moved from Lolland to Copenhagen back i ’64, due to an invitation from his brother. They got into a fight, and haven’t talked to each other since. Børge moved from Elmegade to Hillerødgade and now works as a caretaker for the block he lives in. He has back-aches, wants to retire and move from Copenhagen.

Danish brand Ykiki started out as flipflop brand but has since then moved on to bigger and better things.
I think it was after the third number that I couldn’t hold it in any more. My sunglasses were so steamed up that I couldn’t see a damn thing and tears were running unstoppably down my face. The only man to mend a broken heart, Charles Bradley, Ladies and gentlemen! CHARLES BRADLEY! Continue Reading →
Yum Yum Went to Roskilde and the Strokes May Have Saved Him.
I think it was the final storm clouds late Saturday night that did it. I couldn’t take any more. I was done. Roskilde had sapped me dry and I had nothing left to give. I have a suspicion that it might be age, but then again I have never really been a festival kind of dude. The sight of a wet tent fills me with dread and hoards of sweaty kids covered in mud makes me feel uneasy. Too many people drunk and hammered in one place can be a worrying thing to see. Yes, I must be getting old. My buddies call me a princess and they are probably right. Poor Yum Yum. Continue Reading →
Here’s a flick made by our mate Simon Weyhe (who seems to be blazing everything in his len’s trail these days) from Rune Glifberg’s Silver Anniversary and produced for Burn. Check it. Continue Reading →
This is ‘Shorty’. A 15-year old lad living in west Belfast, near Donegall Road. He, and some of his mates, made a five meter tall bonfire consisting mostly of pallets, which is to be lit on fire tomorrow night to celebrate King Williams victory in a battle near Boyne River back in 1690.
