Harmony Korine, mastermind behind our generation’s favourite feature films, Kids and Gummo, not to forget Ken Park and the recent Mister Lonely is ready with his latest, and potentially most fucked up work: Trash Humpers.

I basically pissed my pants watching the trailer and the film is already highly acclaimed at most of the decent film festivals internationally. The website is a beautiful piece of work which will no doubt have you in tears within minutes.

A comment from the judges: We feel sorry for anyone who did acid accidentally among that many strangers! Please stay off those trips at TP and thank God you came back to your senses!

Bad trip at Roskilde Festival. I swapped a sugarcube of homemade E for a hit of powerful acid. As the sun was saying its farewells I grew extremely paranoid. Watching all these drunk people in groups made me think that they were controlled. Manipulated to walk in specific paths to concerts of masspsychosis. And all the camp flags. Ouch. The flags were in on it too together with the wind. Changing direction collectively and somehow a part of the grand scheme of brainwash. I tried walking in the opposite directions of the herds – to demonstrate free will and individuality – to no great success. People commented on my solo behaviour with snarling words. Later I found myself in a corner of all the fences. There was a corner within the corner of the fence..and a corner within the corner of the corner of the fence etc. making me completely lost. Wonder how long I have been standing there lost in a corner of a fence. Some guards appear asking if I’m okay, but their faces melt i ugliness. Hideous facial expressions morphing into absolute disgust. At this point I finally realize that this bad trip is out of control. I want to find the police to get arrested. Claiming that the year was incorrect and that I really needed for the police to send a helicopter with a fresh newspaper with the correct date – I managed to end up in a cell. Now arrested I could be sure to not do harm to myself or anybody else. The paranoia would take no end. The harsh writing on the walls of the cell – including swastikas – started bending and morphing like those ugly faces of the guards on the camp site. My cell neighbour couldn’t stop shouting at the police guards. From her words and voice she seemed heavily drugged too. After some shouting to each other she was set free and so was I an eternity later. Into heavy rain and a long walk back to the festival. Completely soaked and for sure looking awful I entered the camp site. The muddy trails where almost afloat but in my mind the mud suddenly turn to shit. Shit everywhere and I was walking in it to find my friend. Some girls asked if they could help me, but I was too afraid to receive. As I reached the camp my friends were there. They handed me some coke to ease everything up. It worked a little but I couldn’t leave the tent until evening where a shitload of alcohol got me going again. Worst experience ever. Take care <3

Another on from Roskilde 2 years ago when I arranged to meet with a guy I had a huge crush on. I was going to meet him saturday for some beers in his camp. Friday evening I had been at Roskilde for 4 days without going to toilet to make the “big” thing you know, so one of my friends gave me some pills to fix that problem. I waited all evening and all saturday, but still NOTHING. Saturday evening I went to meet with “my big love” and of course I drank a lot before so i would have the courage to tell him how I felt about him. We sad down together and I started to tell him but then.. Suddently I´ve got this funny feeling inside and exactly 5 sek after i told him that i was in love with him, I shitted myself. And of course I was wearing short shorts that day so he could see it running down my legs when i stood up and tried to run away… This was on of the most fucked up festival experince ever.. And in case you wonder.. I never heard from him again!

Here’s an insight into the making of a box by some French guys for a trophy for some Spanish guys in South Africa. It’s a very nice box, but I’m slightly confused as to why they didn’t get some local cats in SA to make something.

You’ve probably already seen this but I thought I’d pop it in there anyway. It was released back in March in the UK and around April and since in drips and drops across the US. The pre-openings they did down at the purpose-built, underground cinema at Lambeth Place on London looked amazing. Here’s a couple of pics:

And the trailer for the flick. I haven’t seen it yet, but Banksy fan or not, I’m sure it’s a good kick in the ass and a bit of classy entertainment.

Just think of the literal meaning of ‘Honey Pie’. Sounds sickly sweet. And it is. For creator and artist Matt McMullen, the real honey pie is – well, I’m not sure real is the right term – , a work of art. For others, those with deep enough pockets, she’s a Real Doll. This beautifully made film, created by California Is A Place gives us a glimpse into the artists’ side of a world many of us will not encounter close up. I have only recently discovered California Is A Place, and holy hell – I’m not sure if I like the films or photography more. The killer duo of filmmaker Drea Cooper and photographer Zackary Canepari have opened up a world of amazing imagery I could only ever dream of trying to duplicate.

Yea yea we weren’t even there, but I heard it was a hot event and if it was anything like the combo of events that just swept through Copenhagen then it was a darn shame we missed it. Amsterdam, where’s the love? Plane tickets next time would ya? The same Tampa crew of jokers and fools were entertaining the crowd as always with their abuse and juvenile behaviour – essential to grins and the kids were killing shit left right and centre. Here’s a couple of flicks that we’ve made over the last month or so. This is just a temporary get up until we sort ourselves out and create the proper tv channel landing page. There are a couple more flicks in the cutting room which should be sorted before long.

Last night, we whipped over to Malmö to check out the premier of Pontus Alv’s newest feat of film-artistry “In Search Of The Miraculous” which was, to put it mildly, a super rad and inspirational view into Pontus and his friends’ (who all rip) perspective on skateboarding, spots and life. When the witching hour struck, it was time to celebrate Pontus’ 30th(?) birthday which was done in grand fashion with cake food fights, body slam people towers, catching up with skate trip crew, not much break-dancing, smelly armpits, a few babes and a quick getaway back across the bridge to safety.

Ultra power skater, and friendly Swedish neighbour, Pontus Alv is on the verge of releasing his new film In Search of the Miraculous.
It has been five years since Pontus Alv’s last film Strongest of the Strange came out; a raw mix of local spots, killer skating and 8mm film-art. Even before the premier Pontus had already started filming his next project, which is on the doorstep and set to be released in Malmö the 15th of May.

The film is mostly filmed around southern Sweden where Pontus and his crew hang. Since most spots where killed in the first film, a lot of work went into digging deep into the Scanian hummus to search for and create new possibilities. No stone was left unturned in their search for terrain, and quite often the crew were created their own spots with the help of a few litres of concrete in a true DIY manner. When most skaters go to Barcelona and other thirteen-spots-to-the-dozen-cities to film their parts in an environment far from their natural habitat, Pontus, Johan Linö-Waad and Danijel Todorovic have stayed on their home turf. The aim has been to show that it is possible to make things happen anywhere and that lack of spots breeds creativity. Creativity does not just come across in the skating but also in all the DIY spots that popped up as an effect of Strongest of the Strange and as an alternative to the public parks for the masses.

Rumous has it, it’s Pontus’ birthday at midnight so I’m pretty sure it’ll be a good night for all. See you there.
