She’s the Forrest Gump of our time. She has whitnessed more than many of us ever dreamed of. She met Barack Obama, ran with bulls in Pamploma, were almost hit by Tiger Woods’ golf ball and beat some jamacin guy during Olympic Games.

Here’s a quick follow up from the last few days of madness in Berlin. Thanks to Bright for having us and we’re looking forward to breakfast in the hotel next time.

We took half of these on our phones after several G&T’s so don’t hate on the quality. Next time, we promise to bring a real photog, instead of a couple of old dogs.

I was in Australia for three weeks to visit my sister’s husband’s family. We drove along the Great Ocean Road, went swimming in the sea, hung out Melbourne and the foothills to Adelaide, ate tons of great food, I looked at lots of girls and spent more money. This is all I’ve got to show for it – Peter

Nowadays everybody seem to be looking for the new “it”, trying to become the new Mark Zuckerberg. There is no doubt that the competition is tough but this Rube Goldberg ’page turner’ contraption made by Joseph Herscher has to be the best invention ever. There is no doubt that Ai Wei Wei is one of our time’s most revolutionary artists and one of the few who really dare to stand up for himself and his art – He’s got balls – and this trailer is a great example of that. Ai Wei Wei: Never Sorry is a documentary portraying the Chinese artist which should have been released in 2011 but got postponed, and will now premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. Make sure it will stop by your town as well by requesting the movie at Ai Wei Wei: Never Sorry. To do: watch the trailer above.

One of the greatest artists of our time reaches a milestone today, turning a crisp 65. Here’s one of my favourite moments from his incredible career.

You might have heard of Fatamorgana. It’s a small school in an industrial part of Amager, right next to a kung fu club and a City Self Storage. It’s the nest of artistic photography and tomorrow the students are hosting a vernissage to present some of their work from the past 4 months.

So pop by Gallopperiet – Stadens Museum for Kunst at 5′o clock for a beer, tunes and a bunch of photographs from just around 30 students.

At 30cm, this scarily accurate 1:6 model of Steve Jobs, created by in icons is a must have for all obsessive Apple fans. It’s a beautiful piece of work but kinda creepy. A so-called Christmas gift from Banksy to one of his favourite galleries, Liverpool’s Walker Art Gallery depicts a church official whose face his been pixelated with bathroom tiles. The reason: Banksy’s response to the regular child abuse scandals associated with the church.

Via our buddies at Kuuva we discovered this awesome illustrated alphabet leaving us on the hunt for at least 26 new frames and wall space. From Irish based The Small Print, who, in my eyes, are among some of the world’s top taste makers when it comes to print based or illustrative work. They initiated the creative festival Offset and blast out some brilliant campaign work for some gigantic brands while keeping a small-time feel. I’m a fan. Check out some letters we picked out from the series below, and see if you can spell.

Here you go – The Human Pantone Color Chart! The offcial is only in colors – this one is in men – and men is awesome! Artist David Pierre has redesigned the Pantone with a different shade of coloring– the varied beauty of Human skin tones. Enjoy!

In December, Gotham Gallery is very excited to bring in one of Denmark’s top graffiti artists, Soten (SSH, SDT). Coming from the 90′s generation of writers, Soten developed early on under the tutelage of world famous graffiti legend Bates. In the last decade and a half, he has earned his own fame and props through consistently tight pieces and extensive traveling and painting. Now in 2011, Soten will grace the walls of Gotham Gallery with a brand new collection of graffiti paintings entitled “Inspirations.”

“Inspirations” will run from December 2nd 2011 through January 31st, 2012. Stay tuned to GothamGallery.dk for news and updates on Soten’s exhibition.

George Dawe was an English portrait artist who painted 329 portraits of Russian generals active during Napoleon’s invasion of Russia for the Military Gallery of the Winter Palace, Saint Petersburg, Russia. Replaceface uses his imagery to stick faces of his friends, family and oh, these famous people.

On Friday the 7th of October Dutch gallerist Your:Own opens the exhibition MY:SELF & YOUR:OWN and you’re invited.

The exhibition marks the start of the Danish office of YOUR:OWN, a young contemporary arts gallery and agency from Amsterdam. Having worked in Amsterdam for years his own gallery, EIGHT magazine and numerous projects with commercial clients (including Nike and Red Bull). Everybody’s favourite illustrator Jakob Tolstrup had yet another opening at Mohs yesterday. We schmoozed past for an afternoon beer and snappped a couple of pics.

The exhibition runs for a month

I’ve always loved these old bike posters for their graphic design and retro flavour. Given that it’s the world champs in some type of biking here in Copenhagen I thought I’d bang together a small sample of bike posters to perhaps inspire those who don’t cycle daily to dust off the old iron horse and give her a whirl. I, personally, wouldn’t choose to live without it.

Bitchslap contributor, artist, sculptor and all around nice guy Kristian Touborg is showing his exhibition Fremmede for just 2 days at DANSK Madeforrooms (Istedgade 80). You should go. The opening is the day before the closing, and tunes will be supplied by the mighty Pladevennerne. After party at PH Cafeen

Lol Crawley is one of the most sought after DOP’s working in cinema today and I’m completely pumped to say he’s agreed to be interviewed in BS14.

His work on Alex and her arse truck, Ballast, Better Things and Four Lions proved to all what I’d known for ages: filmmakers who work with Lol make better films.

2011 has brought experiences at Sundance Film Festival (with Andrew Okpeaha MacLean’s On the Ice & Braden King’s HERE ), Cannes Atelier project Ilya Khrjanovsky’s Dau, about the life of Lev Davidovich Landau and currently shooting some scenes in London for Bill Murray’s new film ‘Hyde Park on Hudson’.

Hand picked for the stunning Chase and Status’s Blind Faith, (which is a contender for best music vid of this year) anything he touches literally turns into pure 100% truth.

He’s a really nice guy too.
