When we were younger, pinball machines ruled. Anywhere you found a machine you’d patiently huddle around them for your go, helping a mate out with pinball pointers, scrounging around for two 10 cent pieces, and pushing them into the coin slot together in order to make a fake dollar coin.

Stop what you’re doing now. A new concept has arrived from Frankfurt, Germany and it’s going to change everything you ever thought about Pinball. It’s called… Makerball, and it’s a DIY Pinball Machine Kit with endless fucking options.

Our buddy, Lain, from Amateur Magazine, sent us this Kickstarter project today. Now we don’t need to hold onto the strange 90s nostalgia anymore, we can build our own Pinball machine thanks to these guys.

Alan Schibli, inventor of Makerball calls it an “affordable, simple and versatile DIY pinball machine”. You can customise the shit out of it, turn it into a damn bonsai garden, who cares, the sky’s the limit. Best of all… it’s quiet so you won’t piss off your co-workers.

We’re thinking you should build a miniature skatepark. Make sure you include bonus points for switch 5-0 grind.
