We got the premiere of a new video from Flemming here in advance of his tape release on March 3rd. There will also be a massive knees upnod down of a release party on that Friday. ‘Den Her Sætning’ is produced by Lord Acton and stems from the collaborations of the intimate ‘Under The Influence’ series. The sounds and party are coming at you via the one and only Green Shades Music and its physical outpost Palmspree which simply continue to represent, release, promote and host their essence of the danish beat underground. Green Shades head honcho Anthon P. Nymark is also responsible for the the video so it’s a family affair.
At this stage that vision has become a long term commitment and represents not just the familiar axis of dusty samples and drum machines but encompasses an open ended and loose community of studio boffins, sharp instrumentalists, wordsmiths and ambitious performers as well as a host of other crews and affiliations.
Flemming and his right hand producer over the last 10 years, Lord Akton, now share this compilation of tracks which originally did not make it on to their previously released projects. There is a dirtier and rougher sound at play here compared to previously released stuff.
‘Luftkys & Ambitioner‘ was released in January online and is now coming on cassette with the bonus of all the instrumentals on the b-side. Apart from Lord Akton the release also features a production by Emil Kruse and guests verses by Keis Khatib, Jens Nørhave, KÅ, Loke Deph and Esben.
