We all want to be good citizens and sort our waste so the highest possible percentage of it is recycled, right? But different people have different needs. Therefore, Denmark’s biggest waste management company, Vesforbrænding have launched a design competition with a €5000 first prize and the goal of discovering the future trash can, bearing in mind a number of logistical and ergonomic pointers.

The winner will receive €5000 so if you’re design oriented then head over to the site and get your pencil sharpened. Submissions close October 28, 2012.
