Copenhagen’s most colourful studio and DJ collective, Yo FOK!, take to the Roskilde Festival skatepark stage tonight for a night of rumbling booty shaking grooves. We asked Anders Dixen, aka Dixone, a few questions before his appearance with the rest of the gang.
BS: Yo Dix, what are you going to play tonight?
DIX: Trap shit, slow hiphop beats with ravey synthesisers beats.
BS: What’s it like playing the skate stage at Roskilde Festival?
DIX: The sounds is shit, it’s always shitty here but Roskilde doesn’t care. Every year it’s the same but Roskilde doesn’t listen because they don’t take it seriously. No one can hear after the first 20 meters.
BS: How many years have you been coming to Roskilde and what’s the most absurd thing you have experienced?
DIX: I’ve been coming here since 1997. One year this guy ran around with a spoon up his ass.
BS: Will tonight’s show be more absurd?
DIX: No, that was pretty absurd.
