Talib Kweli always generates some buzz when he drops something, so while we’re awaiting his new LP “Prisoner of Consciousness” due in October, he’s gone and dropped “Attack the Block” to tide us over. Very much a mixtape affair, with a bunch of b-sides it’s still got a full roster including guest verses from Black Thought, Fashawn, Skyzoo, and a bunch of other dudes as well as production by cats like 88 Keys and 9th Wonder, and features some classic Kweli flows, good to see dude is back to rhyming.
