Gadens Parlament – 30 års plakater fra den radikale venstrefløj from Møller Forlag just got lugged in by the postman. 

Gadens Parlament is authored by Malene Meisner, and is the first collective series of over 30 years of street propaganda and poster production created by the radical left anti-political activists. Packaged in a fine minimalist woven cover, one is almost overwhelmed by the visual attack that lies within its pages featuring the best and worst of illustration, graphic design and anti-design – ok let’s admit it – it’s seldom the best but that’s never been the point.

Personally, I’m a fan of big heavy image books and this is a gem. As I leaf through these pages, I’m told a story of resistance, passion, fun, ostracism yet belonging, local community and anger.
