The excellent Galleri Naboløs have organised the first solo exhibition of Swiss/Danish artist group PUTPUT’s photographic work, with a reception at their Copenhagen gallery on Thursday afternoon this week.
PUTPUT explores the duality of objects and situations associated with everyday life, challenging perception and recognizability through distinctly staged scenarios that underline a metaphysical relationship to the material world. This highly stylized visual universe has clear references to Pop Art, surrealism and reinterprets classical genres such as still life through a contemporary lens.
Established by Stefan Friedli (CH) and Ulrik Martin Larsen (DK) in 2011 and based in Copenhagen, PUTPUT’s opening reception is this Friday 24. August from 17-20 and runs until the 14th of September.
Opening hours; Weekdays from 10.00 to 16.00,
Saturday from 12.00 – 15.00 – Sunday closed.
