If I leaked the sordid secrets of the last night, I’m sure several people would swiftly have me in a headlock. Slopestyle prize giving at the Storehorn and the ‘drain what remains’ party. We started with gin and tonics, a couple of vodka red bulls and champagne from the bottle. The temptation to take a 500 kroner taxi ‘home’ didn’t lure me as much as the chance to show my skills on the dancefloor while Frederik got naked and jumped off the balcony, only to seriously sprain his ankle.
I drunkenly interviewed Simon Houlind about things I know nothing of, like 1080 spins and sevens being safe. Peep issue 11 for the goods. While the names were being dropped for who won what, I started to spin out and had to take 10 minutes of quiet time to re-gather my shit. I’m pretty sure Cap P won the boys division and Maria stole the girls medal. Either way, they were ripping more than the others and I’d have more details had we not been booted out of our apartment (effective immediately) during the finals. But hey, who knows? I might have already written about it in the last post.
The next day started out very confusingly, waking on a snapped couch, hitching and walking for an hour and a half, only to find that everyone was back where I started. We had 12 hours to wait for the bus so we took a walk.
