We’ve been shipped to the far north of the world to cover the Danish Snowboard Nationals. After a death bus ride with almost no sleep we rolled into out-of-town, and the accommodation which is a set of humble apartments. Names get called and allocated to rooms; except us, which leaves us thinking we might have ridden the wrong us to the wrong town. It turns out our rooms aren’t ready yet – but on the plus side it’s a in a brand new set of hillside apartments where as this spot is a 15 minute bus ride – which we wait 80 minutes for.
It’s bluebird and fast as hell with bulletproof landings so we spend the day exploring the hill and driving past the gigantic kickers on which the likes of Simon Houlind is stomping clean fs7 and learning mctwists on the quarter.
Officially the contest starts on Monday but until we can spot you with results and some action here’s a peek into the trip so far.
